The Versatile Blogger Award

Yayyyyyy, another taaaag. . . I do hope you aren’t tired of me doing tag posts, because they’re pretty much the easiest type of post for me. πŸ˜›

Before I begin. . . what do you guys think of my new website makeover?

I wanted something a bit brighter and more cheerful, and something that would go with the title pictures better. Are the title pictures okay, by the way? Do you like them on my blog?

Any and all comments and critiques are welcomed. πŸ™‚

Okie, let us do a tag, shall we?

~~ Rules ~~

1. Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog.  // Thank ye, Jenna! (I think she likes me. πŸ˜› )

2. Share 7 facts about yourself. // Oh dear. . .

3. Nominate 15 more bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award. // I’m sorry, but I highly doubt I can pull that off. X’D

~~ Seven Facts ~~

1. I am an extremely picky eater.

I don’t like strawberries, I don’t like bananas, I don’t like jelly or jelly-filled donuts, I don’t like olives, corn, cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, raisins, dipping sauces (except gravy), sweet potatoes, barbecue sauce, yogurt. . . It’s pathetic, and very unfortunate for someone conscious of her own weight and health.

2. I used to be obsessed with Vector from Despicable Me.

Several years ago I made a Mii of Vector on my Wii and for some reason that sparked a really peculiar obsession/fear/I-HAVE-NO-IDEA. It was a really weird phase, and I’m still not quite sure why it happened exactly. It made no sense! It was just. . . WEIRD!! Like. . . *stammers* . . . WHY. I’ll never look at physics the same way again.

3. I love Myers-Briggs/16 Personalities.

Like, pretty much every person I meet, I have to ask them what type they are. It’s just really fascinating studying the behavior of each type. For some reason I’ve met a lot of ENFPs like myself. I’m not sure why. They are all over my online circle of friends. Maybe it’s coincidence. . . or maybe I just notice them more?? O.o I don’t know.

4. I adore penguins.

They’re my lifelong favorite animal. It all started when I was little with shows like “Pingu” and “3-2-1 Penguins!”, and then everything sort of spiraled out of control. Penguins are AWESOME. My favorite species is the Emperor because of the National Geographics documentary, “March of the Penguins”? Ever seen it? It’s only the most wonderful penguin movie ever filmed.

5. My sister and I made up a lot of weird games when we were younger.

In elementary school I invented this totally pointless game called “Clumsiness” where we would waddle around the living room like zombies, falling on top of each other and making weird noises until after about five minutes of tumbling and flopping and basically being boneless blobs we would finally run into each other and “faint” cartoon style. It was the best game ever.

We also had this game where we would essentially make up preposterous dance moves and utter random meaningless sounds before falling over. We called it “Funny Dancing”. Imaginative title, eh?

I could go on and on about absurd games we played as youngsters. It was an eventful childhood. XD

6. I want to be a youtuber.

I doubt this will actually happen, but people like TheOdd1sOut and Alan Becker etc. make it look like so much fun. If I did do YouTube, I’d do a bit of everything, I guess. Primarily story-animations like TheOdd1sOut or Jaiden Animations with a bit of gaming mixed in.

7. I am officially a digital artist.

Feast your eyes. . .

Dad bought us a graphics tablet on Thursday and I only just started using it yesterday. It will take a long time for me to get used to not looking at my pencil while I’m drawing, but I’ve been having fun experimenting.

I tried drawing something else before this, but. . . it didn’t work out.

DIGITAL ART PRO TIP: Don’t put the sketch on the same layer as the background unless you want your finished drawing to stand on its own in front of those grey checkers of nothingness. XD Please make your own layer for everything.

~~ Tagging ~~

Let’s see how many I can pull off.

Okay. . . that’s literally all I can think of. . . Well, actually no, I can think of several, but they’ve been tagged a lot and they’re probably swimming in pending tags. *sighs in frustration*

So I hope you liked the tag! Please leave more suggestions for what else I should do on this blog in the comments. I need ideas. Desperately.

Oh, there’s an “assumptions” trend? O.o Erm. . . Okay, I can’t say I noticed. But now I’m curious, what are y’all’s assumptions about me? πŸ™‚

See you next week, Hunters! (At least I hope so. . .) And please let me know how you like the makeover.

  1. Hey thanks for the tag! Yes… I’m swimming in another that I haven’t posted yet, but as long as you are patient, I’d love to do this one. πŸ˜‰

I wish I could have joined you and your sister for your childhood games. They sound like fun. xD
Also, *high-fives* I didn’t realize you were a ENFP too!

    Assumptions? Oh dear…

    1. You have either two or three siblings.
    2. Your favorite subject is science or literature.
    3. You don’t mind baking, but you don’t do it often…
    4. You like chocolate. πŸ˜‰

    How did I do? O.o

    1. Aww, sorry about that!

They were fun. . . and quite pointless. πŸ˜›
      What? ANOTHER one?! XD

Pretty close — I have one sibling.
Ooh, good guess! I like physics and Spanish. πŸ™‚
That’s pretty spot on! I’d like to learn to cook and bake more, but I don’t have the motivation for it.
      I’d call that accurate, hahah.

    1. Oy, sorry about that. Man, I’m terrible at judging tags. -_- I’ll see what I can do when the next tag comes along. πŸ˜‰ I wonder if it would be a crime to make my own tag. . .
      Thanks!

  2. Ooh, epic post! I’m not swimming in tags or anything, but I did just make a blog post yesterday. πŸ˜› This seems a little close to the Liebster Award, though… Either way, epic job AND CONGRATULATIONS ON THE DIGITAL ART!!! I love digital art, and I sometimes love it even more than regular art. IT’S. SO. AWESOME. And erasing is as simple as pushing a button. XD *faints from the excitement*

    1. Kind of. Both involve fun facts. πŸ˜› Thank you! I hope to practice a bit of digital art everyday. Maybe in a year or so I’ll post a timeline. πŸ˜€
I know. That’s one reason why I’ve always wanted to get into digital art: so I don’t have to deal with the agony of leftover eraser marks, guidelines and stray ink marks.

      1. Yeah, that’s a great reason to get into digital art! πŸ˜€ And yeah, that’s a great idea about the timeline. πŸ™‚ Keep it up; you’re doing phenomenal on your blog so far! (And I’m lovin’ the new light look! It looks a little more writerly and cheerful. XD)

  3. Of course I like you. πŸ˜‰
This was super fun to read! If you started a YouTube channel, I’d be all for that. 😁
    My assumptions about you:
    01. You like to take frequent walks
    02. You’re an INFP
    03. You want to make art your career
    04. You’re in 11th grade
    And that is all. πŸ˜‰

    1. Glad you liked it! πŸ˜€

I like walks, but I don’t take them as frequently as I should.
      What?! o.o
Absolutely! I’d like to study animation and graphic design.
      Close. Twelfth. πŸ™‚

      1. Lol, coming back to this comment I just remember that you are not an introvert. πŸ˜€
Oh, twelfth. I was close. πŸ˜‰ Do you graduate this year?

        1. Hahah, I understand. ☺️
Yep, at least technically. I had my party a couple days ago, in fact.

  4. I don’t have much to say because I’m tired, but great post!
    Ohhh, an Assumptions Fallacy! YESH!

    1. Your Irish, or at least partially Irish.
    2. You like Fantasy novels, and Sci-Fi novels, but you like fantasy better.
    3. Your a furry? (Don’t think I’m dishing dirt, being a furry is fun.)
    4. You enjoy hiking and long walks in nature.
    5. THE SMELL AND VIBE OF LIBRARIES IS IRRESISTIBLE. (As you can see, it is for me as well.)

    1. I feel ya. πŸ˜‰

Genetically speaking, I’m very west European, which does include a little Irish. πŸ™‚
That’s accurate! I don’t think I’ve read very much sci-fi, but I want to. I’ve definitely read fantasy.
      I’m a furry and proud. ;3
Yeah, but I don’t hike often. I should.
The library I go to isn’t musty enough to have much of a smell, but they’re awfully fun anyways. πŸ™‚ I LOOVVVVVVE the smell of books though.

      1. YES! FURRY SISTER! XD I don’t meet many people who are accepting to furries or even ARE furries, haha. Cool! The assumptions thing was fun.

    1. I know. X’D
(Well, technically I do, but there’s nothing on it except a couple random Aetherlight things and a LEGO animation.)
