Seven Reasons I Love God

There’s no doubt about it that God is awesome. He is so awesome, in fact, that the statement “God is awesome”, though it may sound like it, is no subjective truth. And if you don’t agree, I am here to prove you otherwise.

Here are some things that God has taught me about Himself that stick out to me.

I Got Plenty O’ Nuttin’. . .

What’s up, Hunters!!

Unfortunately I don’t have an official new post ready today. I’ve been super busy preparing for something in the outernet, and with all the deadlines and stress, I haven’t had time to cook something up for you guys. :-/ I’ll have something next week — I promise!

In the meantime, have some of Mom’s pancakes. (They’re the best pancakes ever concocted. You won’t be disappointed.)

Have a great week, peeps!

And, um. . . subscribe. . .

. . . if you haven’t already. . .

*cringes* I really don’t like advertising. . .

P.S. The title of this post is a reference to the musical “Porgy and Bess”. I haven’t seen it, but the song “I Got Plenty O’ Nuttin'” is awfully catchy.

Hunters, I Need Your Help!!

After two tag posts in a row, you probably want something new and original, am I right? If so, I don’t blame you; I want something original, too (not that tags aren’t cool, of course). The problem is: I don’t know what.

That’s where you come to the rescue. I need you to help me come up with ideas and improvements. The best way to do so is filling out this form:

CHALLENGE: Do I Have That Book?

Since I started using Goodreads I’ve developed a peculiar fondness for books. I’m still not a bookworm or book-dragon so much as a book-cat (meaning, I love books but I’m not utterly obsessed with them. It’s like more passive), but I didn’t realize how much of a reader I was until recently.

So when I saw the Do I Have That Book challenge over at Jenna’s website, it immediately peaked my interest. So today I shall woefully break the Eighth Commandment and steal a tag from her.

The Rise of the Cartoonist: Blast From the Past, Part 2

What up, peeps! How’s your April going so far?

Today I shall continue my series “Blast From the Past”, in which I look back on some of my old creative masterpieces. Last week I took a look at my storyboards, or “picture stories”, which I started writing in first or second grade. For many years it was my primary mode of art. Nothing was stopping me.

Stick Figures and Torture Scenes: Blast From the Past, Part 1

Happy Saturday!!! Today begins a new series called “Blast From the Past” in which I share some of my creative work from distant (and not-so-distant) past. Part One will cover what I call “picture stories”, which I’ll explain soon, in Part Two I will talk about the development of my manga-esque skills, and in Part Three I will show you some of my old writing! So so far it’s a three-part series, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up doing a fourth part. And a fifth part. . . It depends.

Right, let’s dive right in!! *rubs paws together*
